Instructional Designer with extensive experience creating over 200 eLearning modules and 120 multimedia projects, driving learner engagement and knowledge retention. Proficient in industry leading tools including Articulate Storyline 360, JavaScript, Adobe After Effects, and Camtasia. Skilled in applying adult learning theories and instructional design principles to craft interactive and visually compelling experiences that improve learner outcomes.

My Work

This course guides learners through realistic workplace scenarios to build effective communication skills, using conversation strategies such as start with understanding, sticking to observations, acknowledging emotions, and shifting from problem-focused to solution-focused dialogue. Learners meet Andrew, the main character, and observe his team utilizing strategies during the first half, then you get a chance to apply the same strategies during the activity scenarios. Learning objectives were written to Bloom’s Taxonomy to support a clear progression from awareness to application, and the course was designed in alignment with WCAG guidelines to ensure accessibility.

Built in Articulate Storyline 360, the project features JavaScript utilizing if-else statements to run scale animation without blur, Next button animation, opacity changes for text animations across layers, and a rotating chess piece outro animation. I rebuilt Storyline characters in Photoshop for new states mapped to dialogue lines, then used Camtasia to transform the Photoshop scenes into scenarios. After Effects was used to create animations where individual chess piece movements illustrate how each strategy is a tactical move. I also developed a screen-reading infographic in InDesign and integrated it into Storyline via HTML resulting in a downloadable infographic. These tools create an accessible, engaging, and professional learning experience.
